This past weekend I attended a workshop with Juerg Roffler, a teacher of Breath Experience. It's an intricate practice and challenging to describe. Here's a video with Juerg himself expressing a bit about the practice.
This work has been informing my teaching and life for the past couple of years and it's the second workshop I've attended of Juerg's here in Vancouver. There are several excellent teachers of the Breath Experience here in Vancouver whom I work with already: Alisa Kort; Gayle Murphy; Linda James.
Voice exploration begins with breath. How do you perceive your breath? Do you observe it from above looking in? Or can you be aware from inside the sensations?
Do you experience holding your breath before you speak, while you listen, or while you think?
Get curious about your breath!
