• Alison is a fantastic teacher. I have been singing every day.

  • To work with Alison has been to step into an initiation with my voice and my whole self. Her work is unlike anything I've experienced, and I've had many voice teachers. I can't recommend the magic of Alison and her work enough.

  • In just a couple of hours, I felt my voice unleash with joy and freedom in a way it has never done before. I felt peace in my body and a soul recognition that this is what it is supposed to feel like to express myself in a way that is authentic, embodied, confident, and true. The way Alison cultivates a space for expression makes singing such a natural event, and I found myself stretching the limits of what I thought was possible. In the days since the session, I've noticed how much clearer I am communicating, with so much more presence, and how people are responding differently to what I say. Pure alchemy, this work.

  • I came to the voice work as a non-singer. I was told at age seven that I shouldn’t sing in the school musical, and my sisters always teased me for being off-key. When my daughter was born, I felt like I couldn't sing her Twinkle Twinkle. I sang her a monosyllabic melody of sorts. Seven years later, when my son was born, my daughter exclaimed, “You’re not going to sing him the ah ah song are you? That’s mine!” Astonished that she liked what I had sung to her, I asked her what I should sing to her brother. She composed a beautiful lullaby, which I did sing for my son. And that was about it, until recently, when, going through Jungian analysis to help me speak from the heart and persuade people of my vision for my work, I realized I needed to find my voice. A fortuitous email brought me to Alison, who was so welcoming and open and disarming. She set up such a feeling of support that I felt comfortable to try and not self criticize too much. I cried when I sang out—it felt like I was taking up too much space. It was such a transformative session. Afterward, my heart felt as open as if I had been on a weeklong retreat. I can’t recommend highly enough!

  • I used to love singing. And somewhere along the way it left me or I left it. A session with Alison is one of the most profound experiences I’ve had in a while. If you used to sing or just want to be around someone who knows and believes to their core that everybody can sing and is made to sing, I must recommend singing with Alison.

  • Being coached by Alison felt like going through a spacious, delicious, energetic carwash for my soul. Within minutes, she helped me drop into a deep soulful place where I was able to both touch and face some real existential fears and allow them to move through and release. She also intuitively guided me to re-contextualize what I was working through with a much more empowering story, which naturally led to action steps that could help me navigate the situation. I am so grateful for how safe and loving her container felt, and how incredible of a listener she is.

  • Our last session was great! Thank you. I continue to sing more & enjoy it more—had some nice moments harmonizing with a woman who was singing "This little light of mine" on the street today!

  • It’s so amazing how Alison can guide me so effortlessly. It really is like she's doing some kind of magic. She's really helping me shift the way I see my voice and ultimately myself.

  • So mysterious and magical at the same time. An integration of inner work and vocal training. I think what Alison is doing is really important and could really help a lot of people.
